1.25oz / 37.5ml mezcal (of good quality – no worm).

0.75oz / 22.5ml Grand Marnier (use lesser orange liqueurs at your peril in this one).

0.5oz / 15ml Punt e Mes.

0.25oz / 7.5ml Amaro Ramazzotti (Averna would also work well).

Stir with ice and strain into a chilled champagne coupé.

Garnish with an orange twist.
